I've been Influenced by numerous teachings on understanding anatomical movement and my teaching style draws from multiple disciplines. My instruction is designed to build  an intimate relationship with the physical body,  that illuminates a transition into the mystical aspect of yoga. With a constant reminder on breath, alignment and the practice of presence, my intention is to assist students in cultivating joy and bliss within.

Since 2001, I've been aspiring to grow my awareness of Self through my dedicated practice - always seeking more emotional/spiritual/physical fine tuning. The majority of my teaching/learning is rooted within the traditional aspects of Ashtanga yoga with a heavy influence of support from props. As a student, I've had the privilege of working closely with Chuck Miller (200+ hours) and Ron Reid (500+ hours) for more than half of my "yoga life" and continue to seek out a deeper learning and knowledge of the practice so that I can then interpret it back into my teaching. In 2004 I completed my prenatal teacher training with Janice Clarfield and continued to deeper my studies and knowledge though my own experience of pregnancy in 2010.  As an instructor, I have exceed over 7500 teaching hours since 2003.  I've spent an extended amount of time in India at Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram and Purple Vally Yoga. I have made yearly visits to New York and California learning from pioneer western yoga teachers like Annie Carpenter, Seane Corne and Lauren Peterson and mediation centres such as Spirit Rock.  I also find working closely with my private clientele continues to enrich my education of asana and teaching yoga from the bones of the body no matter what stage we are at in our lives.
