Talks on nutrition, health, and food by accredited holistic nutritionist, Natasha Vaz. Classes are open to everybody. 

Talk Subjects: 

  • MARCH 3: Health on a Budget and Digestion Basics: Learn the basics of what the bodies needs. Put knowledge behind your food choices and eat healthy on any budget.
  • MARCH 10: Food Sensitivities, Intolerances, & Allergies: Learn the difference and how the body handles potentially problematic foods..
  • MARCH 17: Acid\Alkaline and the 80\20 rule for Healthy Eating: Learn an easy way to balance your bodies ph scale through food and promote long-term health. Reduce inflammation and boost energy. 
  • MARCH 31: You and The 5 Elements (Ayurveda): Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Ether (Space) are what make up the planet as well as Us. Learn how to recognize these elements in yourself and foods that help naturally keep you in balance. Based on the 5,000 year old teachings that include the wisdom behind yoga.

About the instructor

Natasha M. Vaz

Natasha M. Vaz is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist,  Accredited Personal Trainer, Raw Food Chef, , and Ayurvedic Practitioner.

She has been practicing yoga for 8 years and has grown up eating and learning to make homemade food from scratch. Over the past 10 years she has worked in catering, fine dining, in home food prep, restaurant serving, restaurant management, nutritional consulting, and food preparation.

Natasha develops courses, programs and recipes for gyms, yoga studios, workshops, restaurants, health and wellness companies, retreats and individuals. Her food recommendations revolve around healthy, local, seasonal, sustainable, tasty foods and it’s become her life’s work to reconnect people to food and health.
